Sorry I can't join you. Our CHS reunion is the same timing as the Oregon Country Fair, our biggest sales fair of the year. I am enjoying life, I live with my loving husband, I have a small tight family, I live in a most wonderful community, I have friends near by, I am surrounded with beauty every day, our wonderful son and his wife are attentive to our needs, his daughter brings me joy, We have two  younger men living here with us who are both nice people and do all the hard chores,  our daughter loves us to pieces and would love us to live closer, her two children fill me with love, her partner is a splendid person , our health is as good as can be considering our age, I am easily amused and don’t worry much, I live in the moment as much as possible, my life is relatively peaceful, I have a warm house and enough food and firewood, we have an automobile that works most of the time, our animals bring a warm smile to my face, our land is the source of strength and stability in our lives, we are blessed with good friends near and far, we have a business that has sustained us all these years has brought many wonderful people into our lives  and has allowed us to travel a bit, our lives have been so amazingly wonderful and brought so much joy.  I am so lucky!  Love you!

I work for home care services, where we assist & enable elderly &/or disabled persons to live at home independently.  I live in Washington and we have 8 beautiful grandchildren. I thoroughly enjoyed attending CHS & living in Coronado, naturally!  I was in the marching band & have some fond memories.  I plan on visiting 'Nado July 4th to visit my parents and to finally attend a reunion.  I can hardly believe it's been 40 years!

I am so excited about this reunion even though I still stay in contact with many of my girlfriend classmates.  Thanks, John for the suggestions on how to spruce up --maybe you could sponsor a 'botox bucks ' bucket so all of us in need could look a little less than 57.  I'll be first on the list.  My husband Michael and I are still enjoying racing cars, fly fishing and travelling.  We will be attending the Formula One Race in Montreal in June.  See you all at the reunion and I'll be sure to keep the sunglasses on (unless John comes through).

I have made my plane reservations from Portland, OR and will be coming to defend my good name against any rumors Kimberly Vee Valliere (Winter) has to say about me!!  Looking forward to seeing everyone.

First of all, a big thank you to everyone on the reunion committee for their extraordinary work.  How to sum up 40 years?  I graduated from San Diego State with a double major in English and French. With no job prospects in sight,  I travelled and worked in Europe, mostly France, and then returned to the U.S. to get my teaching degree. After five years as a high school teacher in Longview, Washington, I went back to school to study computer programming in Seattle.  There I met my husband of 23 years, Seth Arlow, an anesthesiologist.  We have two children, one Golden retriever and two cats. We've done some travelling - Europe, Nepal, Thailand, Mexico and Canada, but would love to do more during our retirement years. Unfortunately, we have travel plans for July and won't be able to make the reunion. Perhaps we'll see you for the 50th.  Have fun!

Hi all, I had a great time at the reunion. Sign me up for the 45th!
Where did the forty years Go? I fondly remember playing Drums at the school dances,   women's club and military bases around San Diego in the 60s. Remember the Bands of Coronado at the time-The Nobles, Coachmen,  Cubic Feet, Rogues, West Coast Iron Works, New Britons, Centaurs, Squires, Family Jewels and of course The London Beats? What a great time to grow up in Coronado! See more at: http://www.coronadobands.com
I continued in the entertainment business as a Musician, DJ, Audio Engineer and Disco designer until it finally took it's toll, The party ended in the early 90s. Friends tell me I had fun, I will have to take their word for it.
Since then I have changed careers and now work in the Security field for the Air Force and Army (who would have thought!) Turns out I should have taken Electronics instead of Auto Shop and Band in High School, Oh well!
I have traveled to 16 Countries, 48 states and Hundreds of cities since the 70s. I still travel 300 days a year for the Military.
Life has been really different for me but I wouldn't change a thing!

I hope more people participate in this web site and attend the reunion.

I wish everyone a long and Happy life! Dean

I miss Coronado and the great years spent there.? It is a great place to grow up. People always said I had lots of patience and should teach.? So I do - at a high school. Twenty years of math and now computer science. Photography is my main hobby since I learned how to process and print in during high school.? Now its all digital but still fun.
